Leader outdoor market kicks off season with eight vendors

By Joan Janzen

LEADER – The sun was shining for Leader's first outdoor market of the season, which took place Thursday afternoon, June 25th. There were eight vendors stationed at Sandhills Credit Union Marketplace. Everything from baking, crafts, candles, paintings, clothing, produce, decorative rocks, plants, metal art, and woodwork was available.

Kids were lining up to join the library's summer reading club, and families could borrow a free regional park pass. Alan Hudec provided musical entertainment while everyone shopped and visited with friends. Meanwhile, the children were having fun feeding the goldfish tucked away in a pond in the Millennial Gardens.
