The fundraiser, held at the Kindersley Senior Centre, raised money for KAWS Animal Rescue. The weekly lunches are designed to support community organizations that help make Kindersley and the surrounding area a great place to live.

Each lunch purchased throughout the summer will benefit a different local organization.

During July, proceeds will go to Elizabeth Middle School, Pioneer Haven in Kerrobert, Kindersley Soccer and Eatonia Oasis Living. August recipients will be Creative Kids in Kindersley and Prairie Branches in Kerrobert. The final community lunch in September, featuring taco in a bag, will raise funds for Kindersley Composite School.

Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars and support the community lunch program throughout the summer.
