Toy drive delivers smiles for Saskatoon children's hospital

By Joan Janzen

Kinley Hildebrandt held another successful toy drive on Sunday afternoon, June 21. The sun was shining as people gathered in the Kindersley Mall parking lot to drop off toy donations for the 11th annual Toy Drive for the Children's Hospital in Saskatoon.

It was a relaxing afternoon spent visiting with friends, checking out the Flatlanders Speedway race cars and entering a draw for a bag full of prizes. Families took time to admire the race cars, meet the drivers and enjoy the community atmosphere while supporting a worthwhile cause.

Each year, the toy drive helps brighten the days of children receiving care at the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital, with the generosity of local residents continuing to make the event a success.
