Kinsmen Foundation opens one-time funding program after $10.5 million TeleMiracle 50

The Kinsmen Foundation is accepting applications for a one-time funding program created after TeleMiracle 50 raised $10.5 million from donors across the province.

The 50th Anniversary Special Funding program recognizes the success of the 50th show and the generosity of the people who made it possible. Organizations from across Saskatchewan are invited to apply for projects that improve health, accessibility, independence and quality of life for residents.

Eligible projects may include specialized equipment, accessible transportation, accessibility initiatives, innovative health technologies or expanded services that help people live healthier, more independent lives.

The foundation says it is particularly interested in projects that support people living in rural, remote and underserved communities.

Applications will be accepted until Sept. 30 at 11:59 p.m. Successful applicants are expected to be notified by Oct. 26.

Organizations are encouraged to review the application requirements carefully before submitting. Only complete applications with the required supporting documentation will be considered.
