Gregory Goldade

March 15, 1942 - June 28, 2026

Greg was born in Prelate, Saskatchewan on March 15, 1942 to parents Frederik and Katherine (Haag) Goldade. He passed away in Regina on June 28, 2026 at the age of 84.

Greg grew up with a deep love of sports and became a talented athlete for his skill and dedication on the ball diamond and in the rink. Over the years, his achievements in athletics led to his induction into the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame in 2016, as a member of the Leader Barons baseball team. Greg will be remembered for his easygoing nature, quick smile, and the way he lit up a room whenever there was music and a dance floor. He loved spending time with his siblings playing cards.

Greg worked across Saskatchewan and on Vancouver Island with Co-op before moving to Edmonton. He spent his retirement years in Regina.

Greg was predeceased by his parents and his siblings Mary, Gen, Vern, and Claude. He is survived by his children Kent Goldade (Vicki), Gaylene McCannell (Byron Glover), and Blair Goldade (Lisa Lepage), and their families. He is also survived by his brothers Ron (Janice) and Al (Janice), and many nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at a later date at the family plot in Kindersley, Saskatchewan. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honour Greg's memory by sharing a dance, enjoying time with loved ones, or supporting a local sports organization in your community.

Family and friends are invited to leave tributes at www.reginafuneralhome.ca. Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery (306) 789-8850.
