The Garden Bug: Sedums

By Brenda Weaver

There are multiple species of sedum available to growers. "Autumn Joy" is a popular choice for many. When the leaves start to droop late in the season, trim them off and collect the stalks and blooms for dried floral arrangements. Sedums are perennial and bloom from spring to fall each year. They are drought-tolerant and don't need much care. Bees and butterflies love feeding from them.
