Students welcomed back to school in Kindersley

The schools in Kindersley started the new school year together by welcoming the students back prior to the first day of classes. On Monday, August 31, the Kindersley Junior Klippers were manning the barbecues at Westberry Elementary School as families lined up outside for their hamburgers. The young students were excited about meeting their teachers, dropping off their school supplies and getting together with friends.

Later that evening, Elizabeth Middle School invited students and parents to their Backpack Day from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. It was an opportunity for students to meet their new classroom teachers and drop off their school supplies.

Meanwhile, a welcome was extended to all new families and incoming Grade 9 students and their parents at Kindersley Composite School. The staff was present to meet parents and students, and make announcements and introductions. Parents and students were also able to visit their classrooms and find their schedules.

Students from kindergarten to Grade 12 were welcomed and ready to start a new school year!
