Spring cleanup reminders issued for Kindersley property owners
By Your Southwest Media Group
KINDERSLEY — The Town of Kindersley is reminding residents of their responsibilities for maintaining their properties this spring.
Issues that property owners must address include overgrown weeds and grass, junk vehicles, inappropriate storage of materials, fences requiring repair, dilapidated buildings, pet waste, overgrown and hazardous trees, inappropriate water drainage and keeping back alleys tidy.
The land each owner is responsible for includes the front and side yard, backyard, alley adjoining the property and adjoining boulevard.
The town outlined three reasons spring cleaning matters: to provide a safe and clean environment within the community, to prevent rodent infestation in neighbourhoods and to allow enjoyment for all community members.
Residents who know of a property, public or private, in need of immediate attention, or who have questions or concerns, can contact the Town of Kindersley Administration Office at 306-463-2675. Concerns can also be submitted online, where residents can also access Nuisance Bylaw 19-08.
