SASKATOON — Sask Jazz Fest has announced the first artists for its 2026 ticketed lineup, with alternative rock band Modest Mouse set to headline one of three ticketed nights at Victoria Park.
The festival will run July 5-11, 2026, with ticketed performances scheduled for three days at Victoria Park.
The first ticketed show, set for July 7, will feature Modest Mouse at 9 p.m., followed by Philadelphia-based band SNACKTIME at 7 p.m. and Canadian singer-songwriter The Naysayers at 5:30 p.m.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing Modest Mouse to Saskatoon for July 7,” executive director Shannon Josdal said in a news release. “Stacked alongside Philadelphia-based band SNACKTIME and Canadian singer-songwriter The Naysayers, July 7 is sure to be an incredible day.”
Tickets for the July 7 show went on sale Feb. 24 at 8 a.m.
The festival is introducing a new tiered ticket pricing structure for 2026. Organizers say 250 Tier 1 tickets are available at $65 plus tax and service charges, followed by 250 Tier 2 tickets at $70. Remaining advance tickets are priced at $80 until capacity is reached, with day-of-show tickets increasing to $90.
Josdal said early ticket sales are important for the non-profit arts organization, but the new structure is also intended to keep the festival affordable.
“Early ticket sales make a world of difference to the festival, as a non-profit arts organization,” she said. “But we also want to make the festival as affordable and accessible as possible.”
Additional Victoria Park headliners are scheduled to be announced March 3 and March 6, with all club shows to be revealed March 9. Tickets for each event will go on sale as they are announced.
