Leader's tourist information caboose welcomes visitors

Visitors to Leader can once again stop at the community's tourist information caboose, where local attractions and regional highlights are just a conversation away.

Ella Baker is returning for her second season as the caboose's tourism host. Originally from Eatonia, Baker recently completed her college education and is looking forward to welcoming visitors, answering questions and promoting the many attractions the area has to offer.

One of the season's highlights will be the guided bus tour in August. The tour will include stops at Sagebrush Studios Art Gallery, the Great Sandhills, Blumenfeld Church and the Estuary Hutterite Colony, giving visitors an opportunity to experience some of the region's unique destinations.

Anyone travelling through the area is encouraged to stop by the information caboose and discover what the Leader community has to offer.
