Krista Finley Education Award
The Kindersley & District Health & Wellness Foundation recently awarded Krista Finley a $1,000 Continuing Education Award and the $1,000 Rod Perkins Memorial Scholarship. Finley, an RN at Kindersley Hospital, has completed the first semester of the three-semester Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence (NSWOC) Program. With no NSWOC service currently available locally and a growing number of patients requiring this specialized care, her training will help fill an important need in the community. Once she completes the program, Finley will provide specialized wound, ostomy and continence services at Heritage Manor, Kindersley Hospital and through Home Care.
