HARVESTING THE PRAIRIES

Two farmers harvest grain in 1937 using a McCormick-Deering W-30 tractor pulling a McCormick-Deering 31-T pull-type combine equipped with a pickup attachment. For many Prairie farm families, equipment like this represented the transition from threshing crews to one-pass harvesting. Does this bring back memories of similar machinery on your family farm?
