Attempted ATM theft under investigation in Fox Valley

FOX VALLEY— Leader RCMP are investigating a break and enter and attempted theft from an ATM at a business in Fox Valley.

Police said officers were called to a business on 3 Street East at about 10:35 a.m. on July 13 after receiving a report of a break and enter and attempted theft from an ATM. The incident is believed to have occurred earlier that morning at approximately 7:30 a.m.

The ATM and the surrounding area sustained damage, but no cash was stolen.

Investigators say two male suspects were involved. Both were wearing black hoodies, black pants and black shoes. One suspect was wearing a yellow face covering. Police say the pair were carrying a blue-green suitcase with the letters "TJ" written on it.

The suspects were seen driving what is believed to be a gold GMC Sierra pickup truck with machine alloy wheels and running boards. Police say the grille and headlight styling are consistent with a first-generation GMC Sierra manufactured between 1999 and 2002.

Leader RCMP are asking anyone with dash camera or surveillance footage from the Fox Valley area on the morning of July 13 to contact police. Anyone who recognizes the suspects or has information about the investigation is asked to call Leader RCMP through 310-RCMP.
