Hanging the moon: Kindersley Library wraps up summer

The staff at Kindersley Library packed the last week of summer vacation with activities for all ages. The week began with kids ages 3 to 6 hanging the moon and the stars during their craft and story time. The following day, children were encouraged to let their imagination run wild and create silly and spooky yarn monsters.

On Thursday evening, the library invited teens to get ready to bedazzle, sparkle and shine as they festooned sunglasses, hair clips and phone cases with sparkly gems. The week wrapped up on Friday with a full day of building and creative play with Lego as kids dropped in throughout the day.

Thanks to the staff at the Kindersley Library, there was always an opportunity for kids in the community to exercise their creativity and imagination, making projects they could take home and enjoy.
