Fitness + fun = funds for the Food Bank

By Joan Janzen

For the fifth consecutive year, Get Jacqued Studio ventured out under the lights at Berard Field on Friday evening as part of the Goose Festival celebrations. This event has definitely become another Goose Festival tradition.

“It’s a fun tradition to share,” Jacqueline Tuffs said. “Goose Festival is all about bringing the community together, and this was one way that we could give back and contribute.” The studio holds a couple of events throughout the year to raise donations, but this is their main fundraiser.

The result was fitness + fun adding up to funds raised for the local food bank. Those registering had the satisfaction of making a donation to a worthy cause, cranking up the music and working out in the great outdoors under the lights. Everyone was invited to join in the fun.

“It’s always fun to do something outside the studio,” Jacqueline concluded.

Get Jacqued Studio ventured out under the lights at Berard Field on Friday night, September 19th. Donations from the event went to the Kindersley & District Food Bank.
