Dakota Buttar Invitational scheduled for September 5 and 6

KINDERSLEY - The Energy Dodge Dakota Buttar Invitational is poised to be an exciting two-day event, taking place on September 5 and 6. This event is proudly presented by Longhorn and Big Rack Vac.

This year, the Kindersley PBR takes things to a whole new level - it’s now officially a Tier One PBR Canada Event. This designation reflects an increase in the number of points, prize money, and national attention associated with this event. With Dakota Buttar currently leading the national standings, this event represents a critical opportunity for him to secure his third Canadian title in his hometown.

The elevated stakes, combined with the quality of the competing bulls, contribute to a compelling narrative that is captivating audiences within the industry. The event will feature premier bull riding, showcasing a roster of elite riders who will compete against the top bulls in the nation.

In addition to the bull riding competitions, several social activities are scheduled. The Co-op Beer Garden in the Event Center Parking Lot will commence its festivities at 4:30 PM on both evenings. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a selection of beverages and food while listening to live music. A portion of the proceeds will contribute to fundraising efforts for the Kindersley Hospital.

Following the conclusion of the bull riding events, participants are invited to the Full Tilt After Party held directly on the arena floor. This will occur immediately after the bull riding concludes on both evenings, providing an opportunity to interact with the riders in a unique environment.

This year’s Invitational has partnered with the Kinsmen and Kinette Club of Kindersley to raise funds for the Kindersley Hospital through a series of community-driven initiatives throughout the weekend. Notable activities include: - A pancake breakfast at Energy Dodge - A 50/50 raffle - A percentage of sales from merchandise, food, and alcoholic beverages The total amount raised will be announced during the Closing Ceremony on Saturday evening.

Event Producer Pete Gebraad remarked, “We are committed to achieving this goal not only for this year but for future events as well. Our vision is that as the scale of this PBR event expands, so too will its positive impact on the Kindersley community.”

Tickets are currently available exclusively at Castle Building in Kindersley. This event is expected to sell out for it’s second year in a row– don’t wait.
