The Garden Bug: Candytuft

By Brenda Weaver

This plant's low-growing habit and captivating blooms make it a great choice for bordering garden beds and lining pathways. Its tidy growth adds definition and structure to the scenery. Candytuft thrives in rock gardens, and is rabbit-and deer-resistant. When used in pots and containers, it creates charming focal points on patios, balconies and decks. Pollinators love candytuft! "Autumn Beauty" is a type of candytuft that blooms in spring, then again in fall.
