More bikes, toys and support at 2026 K-Town Memorial Toy Run

There were more bikes, more toys and more support at this year's K-Town Memorial Toy Run in memory of Lincoln Bairos.

Joan Phinney, who helps organize the event, expressed appreciation to everyone who came out to the rally and supported the fundraiser.

In addition to receiving a truckload of toys, the event raised $5,500 in donations, while 35 motorcycles gathered at the Kindersley Inn on Saturday morning, July 11.

Phinney said participation continues to grow each year.

"We see new faces every year," she said. "We keep growing every year. The support that we get is awesome!"

Each rider donated a toy and paid a $30 entry fee, with proceeds benefiting the West Central Crisis & Support Centre.

The day featured a hot dog lunch, door prizes, raffle prizes, a silent auction, supper and plenty of camaraderie.

At 11:30 a.m., kickstands went up as riders headed out on a scenic ride through Milden and Delisle before returning to Kindersley.

Thanks to the generosity of riders, sponsors and community supporters, this year's K-Town Memorial Toy Run was the most successful yet.
