Fun Fact: Immortal Jellyfish

The species Turritopsis Dohrnii, now known as the immortal jellyfish, was first described in 1883. One hundred years later, researchers learned that if they grew the young polyps of this creature into the mature form of the species (called a medusa), and that mature form was stressed, it would physically revert itself back to the immature polyp stage.
