Fun Fact: First Hot Dog Bun

In 1867, on Coney Island, New York, an immigrant named Charles Feltman invented the first "hot dog bun," enabling beachgoers to enjoy his "Frankfurter" sausages without needing plates or silverware. Over the next 60 years, Feltman's "hot dog" stand grew into Feltman's Ocean Pavilion, serving up to 40,000 hot dogs each day.
