According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the top three states for growing and selling Christmas trees are Oregon, North Carolina and Michigan. The most popular kinds of trees sold are Fraser firs, Douglas firs, Balsam firs, Colorado Blue Spruce and Scotch Pine.
