Answers

1. Out of 28 nominations, they received eight Grammys. The first was for "A Hard Day's Night" in 1965. The most recent was for "Now and Then" in 2025, where they took a 1970s demo and finished it.

2. Chuck Jackson. Several artists released covers of the Burt Bacharach song, including Elvis Presley and Percy Sledge, but it was Jackson's version that was used in the 2014 film "Inherent Vice."

3. The Isley Brothers, in 1969. They won a Grammy for Best R&B Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group.

4. Vito & the Salutations.

5. "Proud Mary," by Creedence Clearwater Revival, in 1968. The Proud Mary was a ship officially named the Mary Elizabeth, working out of Memphis.
