Celebrity Extra: Mandy Moore
By Dana Jackson
Q: When is the new drama series about the NFL coming out with Mandy Moore? Also, is Milo Ventimiglia from "This Is Us" going to be in anything new soon? -- O.S.
A: "The Land," the upcoming series created by Dan Fogelman (who's also the creative mind behind "This Is Us" and "Paradise"), will debut on Hulu and Disney+ the night after the Super Bowl LXI, on Feb. 15, 2027. The two-episode premiere will star Christoper Meloni ("Law & Order: SVU") as the head coach of the Cleveland Browns, William H. Macy ("Shameless") as the team's owner, and Mandy Moore and Chloe Bennet ("Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.") as the owner's daughters.

As for Milo Ventimiglia, who starred as Moore's husband on the hit series "This Is Us," he's been working steadily since the show ended in 2022 -- most recently in the Netflix miniseries "I Will Find You," opposite Sam Worthington ("Avatar: Fire and Ash") and Britt Lower ("Severance").
This coming November, Ventimiglia will star in "A Dog's Perfect Christmas" with Mary Steenburgen ("The Dink"), Dennis Quaid ("Happy Face"), and a professional four-legged Corgi (unknown credits). Look for the movie on Netflix on Nov. 4. So far, Ventimiglia hasn't had luck landing another hit series, especially since HBO Max recently passed on his cop-drama pilot "American Blue," but hopefully, it'll get picked up by another streamer.
Q: When is "High Potential" coming back? I know it wasn't canceled, but I can't remember its premiere date. -- T.B.
A: ABC's highest-rated drama is in no danger of cancellation. The network decided to push back season three until January 2027 (an exact date hasn't been announced) so that viewers won't have to endure a long gap between episodes (like last year) over a longer-than-usual holiday break. In the meantime, "RJ Decker" is hoping to attract more eyeballs to its show until "High Potential" returns.
Kaitlin Olson, Daniel Sunjata and Judy Reyes will all be back for the third season of "High Potential" sometime after New Year's, and there'll also be a "special episode" airing in the coveted post-Super-Bowl time slot on Feb. 14, 2027. "High Potential" certainly doesn't need the ratings boost, but with this kind of exposure, it could become the highest-rated drama on network TV.
Q: How's Kelly Osbourne doing? She was really worrying me with her weight loss, but I know she said that it was a result of grieving her father, Ozzy. Did she ever get help? -- R.S.
A: Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne passed away at the age of 76 in July of this year. One of his daughters, Kelly Osbourne, had a noticeably thin frame around this time, and she didn't care for all the comments that she received on social medial about her weight.
Fortunately, Kelly has given her concerned fans an update, stating that she's now gained 28 pounds since her father's death. According to an article on Yahoo Entertainment, she wasn't aware of the extent of her weight loss until she saw photos of herself after she appeared at the 2026 BRIT Awards. Here's to Kelly staying healthy and happy!
