Beautifully decorated tables were set with teacups, saucers, floral centrepieces and an impressive selection of teas. Attendees enjoyed finger sandwiches, tea and desserts while visiting with friends, creating crafts and taking part in games throughout the afternoon. Young guests proudly showed off their artwork, while others gathered around the tables sharing stories, laughter and plenty of tea.
The event showcased the museum as a welcoming community gathering place and provided a wonderful opportunity for residents and visitors alike to slow down, connect and enjoy a classic afternoon tea experience. Judging by the smiles, lively conversations and full teacups, the event was a resounding success.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the organizers, volunteers and everyone who attended and helped make the afternoon so memorable. Events like these remind us that some of the best community moments happen when people simply come together around a table and enjoy each other’s company.
