Unity, Wilkie, Macklin RCMP: Harassing communications

Unity RCMP

  • RCMP received a complaint of harassing communications. This matter is still under investigation.

  • Member acted as mediators in a family dispute.

  • Police conducted a wellbeing check at the request of a family member.

  • Members received requests to keep the peace while individuals retrieved personal property from a residence in two separate incidents this week.

  • RCMP received a report of a dog in a vehicle.  Members attended to check the animal’s wellbeing.  No further police action required.

  • Police received a complaint of criminal harassment but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

  • Members attended a rail car fire in a rural area near Winter.  Unity Fire Department extinguished the fire.  This matter is still under investigation.

  • RCMP received a request to attend a residence with Child and Family Services.

  • Police received a report of a missing person.  The individual was located.

  • Members are investigating a complaint of sexual assault.

  • RCMP received a complaint of uttering threats but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

  • Police received a complaint of disturbing the peace but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

  • Members received a request to assist Emergency Medical Services with a patient. The subject of complaint was transported by STARS Air Ambulance to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • RCMP received a complaint of an individual in possession of stolen property.  The subject of complaint returned the property.  The complainant requested no further action be taken.

  • CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction in Unity.  Reported for information purposes.

  • Police received a Mental Health Act complaint.  Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

  • There were also two false 911 calls.

Wilkie RCMP

  • RCMP received a complaint of an individual not complying with a court order but it was unfounded.

  • Members conducted a wellbeing check at the request of a family member.

  • Police received a complaint of a dog biting an individual.  Two bylaw tickets were issued to the animal owner.

  • RCMP attended a single vehicle collision on Highway 14 near Wilkie.  The vehicle driver was transported by Emergency Medical Services to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

  • Members spoke to an individual regarding municipal bylaws.

  • There was also one traffic complaint.

Macklin RCMP

  • RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter at a residence in Primate but it was unfounded.

  • Police received a report of a suspicious individual walking near a residence.  Members attended but the subject of complaint was gone on arrival.

  • Members received a complaint of assault but it was unfounded.

  • RCMP received a report of fraud.  This matter is still under investigation.

  • here was also one false alarm.
