Trash to treasure

Can broken toys be transformed into pieces of art? The Grade 4 students at Westberry Elementary School proved it can. This is the second year students have brought their broken toys to school and started to make the magic happen. Mrs. Oostenbrink came up with the idea, and with the addition of some spray paint, the young artists got to work. The sculptors displayed their creations on Thursday afternoon for family and friends to see.
