Three charged following Richmound RCMP investigation

RICHMOUND – Court informations have been sworn for three individuals arrested in Richmound on September 3, 2025, after they failed to provide their names and dates of birth to arresting officers.

Following continued investigation, 72-year-old Lise Beauchamp, 37-year-old Melony Vanden Brink, and 63-year-old Nancy Jancke, all residents of Richmound, have each been charged with one count of obstruction of a peace officer under Section 129(a) of the Criminal Code.

All three are scheduled to appear in court in Leader on November 20, 2025.

RCMP also noted a correction to a previously reported name: the correct spelling is Melony Vanden Brink.
