The show must go on!

The show must go on, despite of receiving more than 40 centimetres of snowfall in a matter of hours. It wasn’t exactly how the Leader Arts Council had planned their concert to go. Performer Tommy Charles was literally stuck in a snowdrift, but managed to make his way to Leader, arriving at 7 p.m.
The show was scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m., and after doing the fastest sound check in history, he hit the stage by 8 p.m. The audience waited patiently, and the show was worth the wait.
“The show was terrific and the attendance was surprising,” Janice Wist commented. “That guy can sing! I’ve never heard anyone do Roy Orbison so well!”
