The old Kindersley Union Hospital

This building originally served as the Kindersley Union Hospital before being converted into apartments known as the Seymour Apartments. On November 14, 1946, approval was granted for the construction of a new municipal hospital in Kindersley.

After years of planning and organization, a vote was held on October 24th across the entire hospital district to authorize the expenditure of $200,000 for the purpose of building a modern new hospital in Kindersley. The vote overwhelmingly passed, with only 40 dissenting votes out of nearly 900 cast.
