Subscribers turn refunds into community support

Kate Winquist, left, publisher of Your Southwest Media Group, presents a cheque for $2,340 to Viv Kalmer, administrator of the Kindersley & District Health & Wellness Foundation Inc., on Aug. 7. The donation came from Your West Central Voice subscribers who chose to direct their unused subscription refunds to the foundation after the newspaper began free delivery to every household in the region.
