Star grant for Luseland Police

Community Safety Minister Michael Weger presented a ceremonial cheque for $10,000 to the Luseland Police Service on Sept. 17 through the province's new Small Town and Rural (STAR) Police Services Grant Program. The program provides $10,000 for every sworn officer serving with a small town or rural police service. Small town forces previously relied solely on municipal funding.
