Seven rigs listed as active in Saskatchewan daily drilling report

Saskatchewan had seven rigs listed as actively drilling in the latest daily drilling activity data, with Estevan showing the most activity.

The CSV report shows three active rigs in the Estevan field office area, two in Kindersley, and one each in Lloydminster and Swift Current. Six of the active rigs were categorized as wellbore drilling, with one listed as preset surface casing.

By operator, Strathcona Resources Ltd. accounted for three of the active rigs, Whitecap Resources Inc. had two, while Canadian Helium Inc. and Saturn Oil & Gas Inc. each had one.

The same dataset includes 14 unique rigs with start dates ranging from Jan. 18 to Feb. 19, 2026, and shows nine rigs with drilling end and release dates recorded, most recently on Feb. 19.
