Rosetown and Kyle RCMP Report: Mischief Complaint

August 29, 2025

  • Rosetown RCMP received a couple driving complaints on Highway 4 near Elrose headed north bound. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.

  • Rosetown RCMP assisted with a well being check in Rosetown.

August 30, 2025

  • Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of Uttering Threats and Assault in Rosetown. Charges have been laid in this matter.

  • Rosetown RCMP attended an Uttering Threats complaint in Rosetown. There were not enough grounds for an arrest, but members remained on scene, to keep the peace, until arrangements were made.

  • Kyle RCMP received a complaint of a vehicle heading north bound on Highway 4 near Kyle. Kyle RCMP located the vehicle on Highway 342 and  attempted to stop the vehicle, but it fled from police. With the assistance of Swift Current Traffic Services, they were able to stop the vehicle and numerous charges including, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police, impaired operation of a motor vehicle, and driving while prohibited were laid. These charges are now before the courts.

September 1, 2025

  • Rosetown RCMP attended a residence in Rosetown for a mischief complaint. Members spoke to all parties involved and there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

September 2, 2025

  • Rosetown RCMP received a report of coyotes in Rosetown that attacked some dogs.

  • Rosetown RCMP conducted a wellbeing check in Rosetown.

  • Rosetown RCMP attended a business in Rosetown as they received a complaint of obtaining food/lodging by fraud. Members located the individual. No further action was required.

September 4, 2025

  • Kyle RCMP received a call out for a well being check in Rosetown. A member attended and took the individual to the hospital.

There were 67 Traffic related charges issued, 3 911 mis-dial call and 2 false alarm calls.
