Little League: Are You Not Entertained?
FUTURE STARS OF THE DIAMOND. A large crowd of parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings and friends turned out Wednesday evening at the Elizabeth School ball diamonds to watch some of Kindersley’s youngest ball players learn the game. There were big swings, bigger smiles, dusty knees, safe calls, high-fives at second base and at least one tongue-out concentration face. The coaches were patient, the teammates were loud, and the bench was every bit as entertaining as the action on the field. Spring ball is back in Kindersley, and these little Royals are just getting started.
