Kyle McKearney headlines Kindersley Arts Council concert series

KINDERSLEY — The Kindersley and District Arts Council is bringing award-winning Americana and alternative-country artist Kyle McKearney to town next month for an evening of roots-driven music and storytelling.

McKearney will perform Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, at the Norman Ritchie Community Arts Centre in Kindersley. Doors open ahead of the 7:30 p.m. showtime. The venue is located at 1023 1st St. West.

McKearney has been gaining national and international attention as one of Canada’s standout voices in the Americana and alternative-country scene. His sophomore album, A Traveler’s Lament, won Alternative Country Album of the Year at the 2023 Canadian Country Music Awards and has helped propel him from local stages to larger audiences abroad, including a tour in the United Kingdom.

His sound blends influences from roots, folk, blues, soul, country, rock and pop, creating performances that appeal to a wide range of listeners.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for youth aged 6 to 18, and free for children five and under. Tickets can be purchased in person at Devon Cole’s Garden Gallery, the Emerald Lounge, or online through Eventbrite using the QR code. Tickets will also be available at the door.
