The round-robin format started on the evening of July 17 with the Medicine Hat Jays defeating the Provost Buds 15-7. In the late feature contest, the Kindersley Klippers came from behind to tie the Regina Drifters 6-6.
Saturday saw the Drifters blank Provost 10-0, Medicine Hat won a close one over Kindersley 11-9, and Regina hung a licking on Medicine Hat 18-8. Kindersley squeaked out a 10-9 win over the Buds.

The Regina Drifters stayed undefeated over the weekend, claiming an 8-5 win over the Medicine Hat Jays to win the A Side Championship.
