Kindersley dresses up for Halloween, from playschool to Caleb Village

Last week everyone from toddlers to grandparents had a whole lot of fun dressing up in creative costumes as they celebrated Halloween. The Kindersley Playschool children held a costume parade for their parents and grandparents on Thursday, October 29.

Their teacher, Colleen Siewert, led the children, encouraging the more timid ones while others happily waved to their families. After the parade, the children performed some action songs before their teacher amazed her students by mixing up a magic potion.

On Friday afternoon, it was the elementary school children’s turn to parade their costumes for their families and friends at Westberry Elementary School. Later that evening, KCS held a Halloween dance in the KCS gym, where costumed characters practised their dance moves. All the Westberry families were invited to join in the fun.

The residents at Caleb Village also got all dressed up for happy hour on Friday afternoon and took part in a parade for their friends and family. They spent the afternoon listening to local musician Orlando Du Guzman sing songs by Phil Collins, John Lennon, James Taylor and other popular artists.
