KERROBERT’S FIRST FIGURE SKATERS

Grace Bomersine (William) was the first girl to own figure skates in Kerrobert. Since there were no teachers, she would go to the Sonja Henie movies and try to emulate her moves. About 1938 Grace formed a small class of ten-year-old girls. Three of the girls are in the photo: (L-R) Edna Sample, Kathleen Lynch, Barbara Shields.
