KERROBERT -- The Kerrobert & District Agricultural Society held its 80th Annual Regional 4-H Show & Sale on June 2 and 3 at the Kerrobert Fairgrounds Ag Building, drawing six clubs and dozens of young exhibitors for two days of competition, showmanship, and community celebration.

The event carried extra meaning this year. Margaret Meyer, 96, and Pat Connor, 94, attended as special guests. Both women were present at the very first regional show and sale in 1946, when the grand champion steer sold for 19 cents per pound. This year's sale averaged $5.79 per pound.
