Kerrobert Composite School celebrated the unveiling of its Library Upgrade Project on Wednesday evening, March 25. Beginning at 6:30 p.m., the community was invited to check out the library’s newly upgraded space at an open house. The project will improve the space for students from kindergarten to Grade 12. Principal Candice Kraft declared the unveiling a “tremendous success.”

Students, families and community members enjoyed complimentary snacks and refreshments before guest readers from the community read stories to those in attendance.

“It was wonderful to see so many community members come out, along with our guest readers, to celebrate this special milestone,” Ms. Kraft said. “We were pleased to welcome approximately 60 attendees, making it a meaningful and well-supported event.”

Mayor Mike Mitchell from the Town of Kerrobert, as well as a member of the Kerrobert RCMP, members of the Kerrobert Fire Department, and Andrew Parnitsky, Lucas Richmond and Preston Plamondon from the Kerrobert Tigers, turned pages together as they read stories to celebrate this new beginning.

The project and evening were sponsored by Kerrobert Composite School, the KCS School Community Council and the KCS Student Leadership Council.
