KCS senior boys’ basketball annual tournament

The Kindersley Composite School senior boys’ basketball team hosted its annual tournament over the weekend, with eight teams competing, including two local squads. Other entrants were from Oyen, Lloydminster, Rosetown, Maple Creek, Shaunavon and Delisle. The KCS Hankewich team reached Saturday’s championship final and led 41-37 at halftime before the Lloydminster Comprehensive Barons pulled ahead in the final seconds, winning 70-66. It was still a strong start to the season for the Kobras.
