Have you ever seen a $1,000 bill? This 1937 Canadian banknote features Sir Wilfrid Laurier on the front. From 1954 on, the bill featured Queen Elizabeth II. Printing of the bill stopped in 2000. Although it’s no longer legal tender, well-preserved $1,000 bills can be worth $2,700 and up to currency collectors. PHOTO COURTESY OLD CANADIAN SERIES
