FULL EXTENSION!
Medicine Hat Blue Jays infielder Randy Schafer leaves his feet in a full-extension attempt to snag a sharply hit ball during the 39th Annual Western Canadian Oldtimers Baseball Championship at Berard Field in Kindersley over the weekend. Although the ball eluded his glove, the spectacular effort drew smiles from teammates and spectators alike as third baseman Craig Fruin watches the play unfold. The tournament featured the Kindersley Klippers, Provost Buds, Medicine Hat Blue Jays and Regina Sportsmen competing for the championship.
