Family, friends, staff and classmates enjoyed an evening of entertainment at Elizabeth Middle School on Wednesday, April 29th, when the Grade 7 and 8 drama students performed Who's Dying to be a Millionaire?
The audience celebrated the creativity, dedication and passion for the performing arts displayed by the twenty-five cast members and Mrs. Graham, the show director. The mystery unfolded as confident game show contestants immediately met their demise after correctly answering the million dollar question.

The police came on the scene to help solve the challenging mystery where everyone seemed to have a motive and opportunity. The game show host continued to question successive contestants, smile and surreptitiously ask "Are you nervous?" One contestant didn't even have an opportunity to introduce herself before being stabbed in the back.
The director's instructions to "keep it lively" were difficult to follow as contestants kept falling to their death. The odd-ball characters delivered plenty of wisecracks throughout the production as they navigated through the messy mystery of contestants dying to be a millionaire.
The backstage crew and stagehands created the background set, props and sound effects, and Mike Reece capably handled the sound. During the intermission everyone enjoyed a Death by Chocolate dessert prepared by Shaunesy Walde and Tammy Diemert.
