CCA Finals Rodeo heads to North Battleford this October

By Your Southwest Media Group

The Canadian Cowboys Association has confirmed its 2026 Finals Rodeo will run October 22 to 25 in North Battleford.

The four-day championship will feature 120 of the CCA's top-ranked athletes competing across the association's major events, including bareback riding, saddle bronc, bull riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, breakaway roping, team roping and barrel racing. Junior steer riding, junior girls barrel racing and novice rough stock events are also on the card.

CCA Championship Buckles will be awarded at the close of the event.

The 2026 Finals Rodeo Committee represents both the CCA and the North Battleford Kinsmen Rodeo Committee. New community-focused events have been added to this year's program to expand opportunities for families, youth and local engagement.

The CCA also extended its best wishes to competitors at the 33rd annual Kindersley Indoor Rodeo, running May 28, 29 and 30 at the West Central Events Centre. The Kindersley event is one of more than 60 rodeos sanctioned by the CCA across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario this season.

The CCA is headquartered in Regina and is the largest semi-pro rodeo association in Canada.
