BETTER TOGETHER: Quarterback Cohen Phillips

Quarterback Cohen Phillips (#17), is one of several Kerrobert athletes suiting up with the Kindersley Composite School Kobras this season after Kerrobert didn’t have enough players to field its own team. And Cohen has certainly made himself at home in a Kobra uniform.

The Kobras battled the Delisle Rebels right down to the wire, pulling out a thrilling 35-34 victory. Cohen’s mom Bree said she had heard it may have been the first time Kindersley has defeated Delisle in more than 20 years and it certainly had fans on the edge of their seat. Whatever the history books eventually tell us, this photo says something pretty special all on its own: sometimes our west-central communities really are better together.
